How to Reset Lottery Data in Cstore Essentials

This article outlines the process to reset your lottery data in CStore Essentials, including steps to delete all lottery readings, reports, or both readings and games

Step-By-Step Process

  1. Go to CStore Essentials Web Account

    • You can access CStore Essentials by clicking here or going to https://secure.cstorepro.com

    • Click the “Forgot Password” button if you need help resetting your password

2. Go to Lottery Settings

  • On the left side of the screen, click on the Lottery/Lotto option

  • Then click on the Settings option

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and locate Lottery Advanced Settings

3. Resetting the Lottery

  • Click on the Reset Lottery option, in the Lottery Advanced Settings section

  • After you click on the Reset Lottery Option, the Reset Lottery window will open

  • Click on the dropdown and select the option that best applies to what you

  • The Delete Readings Only option clears all lottery entries and associated reports

  • The Delete Readings and Games option removes all lottery data, including imported or added games

  • After you select the reset option that best accommodates you, click the Reset button

  • Once you click the Reset button, you will be asked to confirm if you are sure you want to delete the lottery information

  • Enter the code in the provided textbox to confirm the deletion of the selected information

  • After entering the code in the textbox, click on the Confirm button

  • Once you click the Confirm button, you will be redirected to the Results screen

  • Click the close button at the bottom to close this screen

  • You will then be redirected back to the Lottery Settings window

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need special permissions to reset lottery data?

  • Yes, you’ll need Owner, Supervisor, or Manager access to perform a lottery reset.

Can I delete more than 5 days of data from the front end?

  • No, if you have more than 5 days of lottery data, please reach out to CStore Essentials Support to reset from the backend

Do I need to confirm the deletion manually?

  • Yes, after selecting your reset option, you will be prompted to enter a confirmation code in the textbox to complete the deletion process.

Will I be notified when the reset is complete?

  • After confirming the reset, you will be redirected to a Results screen.

  • From there, you can click "Close" to return to the Lottery Settings, confirming the reset has been processed.
