How to Change RJR/MSA Scan Data Submission Environment from Test to Live

This article explains how to switch your scan data submission environment from TEST to LIVE for RJR/MSA in PDI C-Store Essentials

  • Once your test submissions have been approved by RJR, you must update your environment to LIVE in order to begin sending production scan data files

  • You will receive a confirmation email from RJR/MSA stating that your TEST file was processed successfully

  • After receiving this email, you can begin submitting LIVE production files

  • This change must be made manually in your C-Store Essentials dashboard

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Log in to Your Account

    • Log in to your PDI C-Store Essentials account

  2. Access Scan Data Dashboard

    • On the left side of the screen, click on Scan Data Loyalty & Offers

    • Next click on Dashboard

  3. Open Environment Settings

    • Under RJ Reynolds Tobacco Scan Data:

      • Click the three-dots menu (โ‹ฎ) next to the program name

    • Select Update Submission Environment

  4. Change to LIVE

    • In the Update Submission Environment box:

      • Select Live Environment from the dropdown

    • Click Submit to complete the update


Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I do not switch to LIVE after approval?

  • Your scan data files will continue to be submitted to the TEST environment and will not be processed for rebates.

Can I switch back to TEST later?

  • No. Once you are submitting LIVE files, you should remain in the LIVE environment unless instructed otherwise by RJR or MSA.

How long after switching to LIVE will my submissions count for reimbursement?

  • Submissions begin counting for rebate eligibility once the LIVE environment is active and a full week of data is collected.
