Changing Your Scan Data Provider to C-Store Essentials

This article outlines the process to switch your scan data provider to C-Store Essentials

  • If you are currently sending scan data to a tobacco company and would like to transition to PDI C-Store Essentials, you will need to request updated SFTP credentials and set up your submission in your C-Store Essentials account

Switching Your Altria Scan Data Provider

  1. Call the Altria Scan Data Help Desk at 844-230-3454

  2. Let them know you are transitioning from your current scan data provider (e.g., Retail Data Solutions, Skupos, etc.) to PDI C-Store Essentials

  3. Request your SFTP credentials (username and password) to be sent to you via email

  4. Once your SFTP credentials are received, log in to your C-Store Essentials account

  5. On the left side of the screen, click on Scan Data

  6. Next click on Dashboard, click Reconfigure next to the Altria program, and enter your new SFTP credentials

  7. Click Test Connection to ensure a successful setup

  8. Click Update Program to save your changes

Switching Your RJR / ITG Scan Data Provider

  1. Contact MSA (Management Science Associates) by:

  2. Let them know you are transitioning from your current scan data provider to PDI C-Store Essentials.

  3. Request your SFTP credentials (username and password) to be sent to you via email.

  4. Once received, log in to your C-Store Essentials account.

  5. On the left side of the screen, click on Scan Data

  6. Next click on Dashboard, click Reconfigure next to the RJR/ITG program, and enter your new SFTP credentials

  7. Click Test Connection to ensure a successful setup

  8. Click Update Program to save your changes
