When participating in tobacco scan data programs, certain sales and store information is required to be submitted to the tobacco brands.
This ensures that your store remains compliant and eligible to receive rebate payment
At a minimum, the following data is reported to all participating tobacco companies:
Store name and Address
All TOBACCO and Cig products that are sold regards of the brand are sent to all brands as part of their requirements
Product SKU’s, description, final selling price
✅ Note: This includes all tobacco products sold during the reporting period—whether or not they are part of a brand’s promotional program.
Altria Data Requirements
For stores enrolled in Altria programs, additional data may include:
Loyalty Card or Alt ID used (if enrolled in loyalty programs)
Promotional discount applied (e.g., multipack or loyalty discounts)
Quantity of units sold
Timestamp of sale
Cashier ID (if required)
R.J. Reynolds (RJR) & ITG Data Requirements
For stores enrolled in RJR or ITG programs, additional data may include:
Product UPC and manufacturer information
Loyalty transaction details (if applicable)
Discount amounts and types
Total transaction amount
Quantity sold per transaction
