How Do I Get Paid for My Scan Data?

  • Tobacco brands reimburse you via a monthly rebate for your scan data participation

  • This rebate is usually included alongside your regular buydown rebates

💡 Tip!: You do not need to invoice or request payment—rebates are issued automatically based on your program and data submission

How Much Does It Cost?

  • With C-Store Essentials, the Standard Store Operations plan is $59.99 per month if paid annually

  • The plan is $69.99 per month if paid monthly

  • Discounts may be available based on your fuel brand or tobacco program. Reach out to your brand rep for more info.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to run multipack promotions to join?

  • No, but if you do, we can automatically report those promotions as part of your scan data rebate.

Is the tobacco loyalty plan required?

  • No, it’s optional. However, it provides additional rebate opportunities if your store supports loyalty discounts at the POS.

Can I switch providers if I’m already enrolled elsewhere?

  • Yes! Many stores switch to CStoreEssentials.

  • Contact your tobacco brand help desk to request your new SFTP credentials and we’ll help with setup.

How do I know which plan I’m on?

  • Log in to your C-Store Essentials account, go to Scan Data > Dashboard, and you’ll see your plan details listed per site.

Will I receive a confirmation after data is submitted?

  • Yes. You can view submission history under Scan Data > Past Submissions to confirm all files were processed successfully.
