PDI C-Store Essentials offers three ways to adjust item inventory:
Manual Entry

Mobile App Scanning
Before adjusting inventory, make sure that inventory tracking is enabled and that item mappings are correctly set up
Step-by-Step Process
Enable Inventory Tracking
1. Log in to PDI C-Store Essentials
Use your account credentials to access the PDI C-Store Essentials platform

2. Enable Inventory Tracking
On the top right-side of the screen, click on the human silhouette icon
Next click on the General Settings tab
Set Track Inventory Count to Yes
Click Update Settings to save
Manually Enter Inventory
1. Log in to PDI C-Store Essentials
Use your account credentials to access the PDI C-Store Essentials platform
You can access C-Store Essentials by clicking here
2. Input Inventory Details
On the left side of the screen, click on Price Book
Next click on Inventory
Lastly click on Inventory Adjustment
Select the adjustment date
Scan the UPC code or click the edit icon to search by item name
Enter the current inventory quantity
3. Apply the Adjustment
Click the Adjust Inventory button
4. Repeat as Needed
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each item
5. Exit the Screen When Done
β Note: To delete an inventory adjustment, click the trash can icon next to the item in the grid
Upload Inventory via File
β Note: The file must be a .CSV format with only two columns:
Product Code
Quantity
π‘ Tip!: There should be no header row in the file

2. Select the Adjustment Date
On the left side of the screen, click on Price Book
Next click on Inventory
Lastly click on Inventory Adjustment
3. Upload the File
Click the Upload File button next to the Adjust Inventory button
Choose and upload your CSV file
4. Exit the Screen When Done
Adjust Inventory Using the Mobile App
β Note: You must have Owner or Mobile Pricebook access to use this feature
1. Log in to PDI C-Store Essentials

2. Navigate to Inventory Section
On the left side of the screen click on Pricebook
Next click on Set Inventory Count
3. Scan Items
Tap the camera icon to activate the barcode scanner
Scan the item's barcode
4. Enter Inventory Quantity
Type in the current quantity on hand and tap Update
β Note: If the item was scanned previously, the app will prompt you to add to or replace the existing count. Click the pencil icon to edit a previously entered inventory value.
