Step-by-Step Process
Using a USB Security Key
1. Purchase and Plug in the USB Security Key
Ensure you have a USB security key (sold separately)
Plug the USB key into your PC
Wait for the drivers to finish installing before proceeding
2. Go to C-Store Essentials Web Account
You can access C-Store Essentials by clicking here or going to https://secure.cstorepro.com
Click the “Forgot Password” button if you need help resetting your password
3. Navigate to the USB Key Management Page
Click on the Human Silhouette Icon on the top right side of the screen
Select Manage My Store
Click on the Users tab
Go to the USB Keys tab
Click Add New (or the "+" icon if you already have USB keys)
4. Register Your USB Security Key
Enter a Key Name in the Enter OTP Key field
Press the Gold Button on your USB security key to link it
Click the Blue Bubble to save the key
5. Assign the USB Security Key to a User
Next select the Users tab
Click on the Suitcase Icon next to the user
Under Advanced Security Mode, select USB Key
Choose the USB key you registered
Click Update to complete the process
Using Google Authenticator
Download Google Authenticator
Install the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play
2. Go to C-Store Essentials Web Account

3. Navigate to the Advanced Security Settings
Click on the Human Silhouette Icon on the top right side of the screen
Select Manage My Store
Click on the Users tab
Click the Suitcase Icon next to the user
4. Set Up Google Authenticator
Under Advanced Security Mode, select Mobile
Click Change to configure Google Authenticator
Follow the on-screen steps to scan the QR code or enter the setup key in the app
Enter the verification code from the app
Click Verify, then Update to complete the setup
