Recommended Back Office Computer Configuration, USB/Lottery Scanner, Inventory Scanner and Shelf Label Printer

To effectively use PDI CStore Essentials Back Office at your location, please ensure the following requirements are met.

POS Type

Specific Hardware and Software Requirements

Verifone POS

  • Laptop or Desktop

    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64 or later (Only Windows-based operating systems are supported)

    • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5 or AMD processor equivalent to i5

    • 16 GB RAM or higher

    • 500GB Hard drive or higher

Gilbarco POS

  • Laptop or Desktop

    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64 or later (Only Windows-based operating systems are supported)

    • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5 or AMD processor equivalent to i5

    • 16 GB RAM or higher

    • 500GB Hard drive or higher

Accessories

Beyond the basics we also recommend the following hardware. Please note, these are not required but recommended.

Scanner

USB Based Scanner

Barcode scanner is a USB based scanner that plugs into the back office PC and allows you to easily scan and add/update items from your back office PC. Furthermore, if the PC is located near or around your lottery slots, you can use the scanner to scan in nightly readings to track your lottery inventory.

Wireless Portable Scanner

CipherLab RK25 Series, CipherLab RS51 Series is a wireless device that allows you to detach from your computer and utilize it while walking the store. Its wifi enabled (requires a wifi connection to access the CSP app) and allows you to receive, activate and enter nightly lottery readings, change prices, add/receive items and perform inventory audits.

Label Printer

Dymo 450 with 30336 labels assists in printing shelf pricing labels for customer display or ease the ordering process.

Document Scanner

The Brother DS-620 allows assists in scanning the site level documents (Z reports, lottery, purchase slips, BOL, etc) and attaching them to CStore Essentials entry. This makes records easily accessible in future.
