Access the Sales Screen
Press Exit until [SALES] appears on the screen
2. Navigate to Maintenance
Use the [Ticket Print/Right Arrow] to move to [MAINTENANCE]
Press ENTER
Enter your ID and Password (Default: ID = 1, Password = 123).
3. Find the File Information Section
Press ENTER to view 1. VERSION INFORMATION
Use the [Ticket Print/Right Arrow] to navigate to 12. FILE INFORMATION
Press ENTER
4. Check if GemCom or RubyLink is in Use
Continue pressing the [Ticket Print/Right Arrow] until you see:
CopyEditgcomm.ldm
Look at the file size on the right:
If the file size is ~180K, you are using Ruby Link
If the file size is ~192.5K, you are using GemCom
5. Confirm CITGO Software (if applicable)
If the store is using CITGO software (CITPAK), you will see either "Ruby Link" or "GemCom" displayed
6. Request a Change (if necessary)
If the system is set to Ruby Link, you need to call Verifone Help Desk at 1-800-837-4366 to request a change to GemCom
