❗Stop: Departments must first be added in your point-of-sale system before they can be synced in PDI C-Store Essentials. Please confirm the departments are already set up in your point-of-sale before completing the steps below

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Access the Manager Workstation

    • On your main Passport register, click on Manager Workstation

    • Next click on Setup

    • Then click on Store

    • Lastly, click on Department Maintenance

  2. Add a New Department

    • Click the Add button on the right side of the screen

  3. Complete the Department Setup

    • Follow the on-screen prompts to create the department

    • Click Save once done

  4. Configure Payout Departments (If Applicable)

    • If adding a payout department (e.g., lottery/lotto payout), mark it as negative

      • Ensure the Network Product Code is set to 400 (if not, enter 400 manually)

    • Check the box for "May Appear as POS Department Key."
