Stop! Before you begin, you will need to contact NCR to make some quick updates depending on your system setup. If there are no departments or Pricebook on the register before installation, the NCR system will remain down until the process is complete
The pricebook cannot be extracted from NCR Radiant.
Once installation is complete, you will need to scan your store items or use common items to rebuild the

“Hi NCR Technician, Can you please delete both the Departments and Pricebook from the register so that I can complete the Cstore Backoffice installation? Thank you”

“Hi NCR Technician, Can you please delete the Pricebook from the register so that I can complete the Cstore Backoffice installation? Thank you"
Existing Departments on the register will remain available for use
Stop! Please confirm that you have the (5) pieces of information you need to set up the NCR Radiant Lab
External IDs for Departments
Prepare the Department Name and External ID for both new and existing departments
Gas Grades
Make sure you have the correct External IDs for the gas grades
Tax Information
Gather the necessary Tax Information with the correct External IDs
Default IDs will not work, so ensure the information is up to date
Tenders
Work with the Radiant Help Desk to create and receive External IDs for the tenders
Configuration Report
Ask the Radiant Help Desk to save a Configuration Report on your desktop
This report will include Departments, Gas Grades, and Tax External IDs
Note: Tender External IDs will need to be provided separately, as they are not included in the configuration report

1. NCR Lab Setup
VPN Setup
Your lab was delivered with a Cisco VPN router that should have been setup by your NCR Technician
If you do not have the Cisco VPN router, please contact your NCR technician to locate the router
The Cisco VPN Router allows your lab to connect to the network with minimal changes
Access to NCR Drive
From your BackOffice computer, open File Explorer
Search for the NCR drive by navigating to the IP address provided by your NCR Technician
If you are unsure what the IP address is for the NCR drive, please contact your NCR technician to get the IP Information
Verify Access to Export and Import Folders
Verify you see both NAXMLExportFiles and NAXMLImportFiles folders in the NCR Drive
Once verified, right-click each folder and select Map Network Drive to set up the connection

Log In to Your NCR Register
Access Merchandise Settings
On the left side of the Radiant Site Manager, click on the Configuration folder in the menu on the left side
Next, click on the Merchandise folder
From the Merchandise folder, select the Category Management option
Retrieve Department Info
After you click on the Category Management option, a list of departments will appear in the right side of the window
Click on each department to view the Category Name and External ID
💡The Category Name is the department name you will use in PDI CStore Essentials
💡The External ID will be the department ID

Yes. You must delete Pricebook and departments in order to setup the NCR lab.
If you do not delete the Pricebook and departments that are already setup, the Backoffice setup for Cstore will be unable to successfully install.

The only NCR Radiant version compatible with Cstore is RPOS 2018.1.7.
