Important Notes Before You Begin
Check your store’s eligibility with Altria before setting up scan data reporting
You will need Secure FTP (SFTP) credentials from Altria to complete the setup
Your store must be fully set up with a PDI C-Store Essentials account and connected point-of-sale system
Step-by-Step Process
1. Check Eligibility and Request SFTP Credentials
To sign up for Altria Scan Data Reporting:
Call the Altria Scan Data Help Desk at 844-230-3454
Select Option 1 to speak with a representative
Provide your Altria Retailer Site ID to check if your store is eligible
If eligible, Altria will request your email address and send you an Enrollment Survey
Complete the survey to begin the setup process
After submitting the survey, you will typically receive your Secure FTP (SFTP) username and password by email within one week
While filling out the Scan Data Account Setup Questionnaire, you may be asked to provide 3rd party information

2. Login to PDI C-Store Essentials
Log in to your PDI C-Store Essentials account
3. Configure Scan Data Submission
On the left side of the screen, click on Scan Data Loyalty & Offers
Next click on Dashboard
Click Setup next to the Altria Data Program
On the setup screen, enter the following details:
Store Name and Address
Your Email Address (used for scan data notifications)
Altria Retail Account Number
Submission File Name (your store name without spaces or special characters)
SFTP Username and Password (from Altria)
Click Setup to complete the configuration
💡 Tip!: The scan data program requires accurate store details for proper processing. This does not impact your C-Store Essentials store profile
