Multiple category retailing

Multiple category retailing is for vendors that provide us goods that fall under different category. A good example would be Sam’s or Costco; here we can buy inventory that can fall under more than two categories. For this we will need to calculate the total amount purchased in each category.

1. Go to Grocery > Purchase > invoices. Click on the funnel icon to retail invoice. Then click on “Retail by Category” on top right.

2. Select the category, enter the cost and enter the margin. When the Total cost equals Invoice amount, click on finish.

Note: Margin can be the best estimate you plan to set on the items.
