Overview

You can manage multiple stores from one account in CStore Essentials using the Central Price Book tool. The Central Price Book or CPB lets the owner add/update prices, create new modifiers and build new promotions from a central account. The central account is linked to the local stores of the multi-store owner.

From the Central Price Book you can make changes which can be sent to one store or all the stores connected to the CPB. These changes can be viewed in the local stores, but a local store account can not make changes to the CPB that is connected to it.

How to connect the Central Price Book to local Stores?

After the CPB has been created, we need to map the CPB store to the local stores. This is done to make sure the promotions created and item changes made in CPB go to the appropriate department in local stores.

  5. On the Update register key screen, map the CPB department to local Store departments. Make sure you check the second page option on the bottom to be sure there are no department left.

  6. Once all the department are mapped click on Map.

Note: Department listed on the left are CPB dept., we map it to the dept. listed on the right the local store dept.
