PDI CStore Essentials

With CStore Essentials you can set up bank level security for your users with 2 step verification using either a USB security key or your smart phone using Google Authentication. Thus, for users to login to their CStore Essentials account, they will either need access to their phone for a pin code or a encrypted USB security key.

For 2 step verification using Google Authentication:

Install the verification application on phone

On your phone, go to Appstore/Android Market

1. On your phone, go to Appstore/Android Market
2. Search for Google Authenticator
3. Download and install Application

Login to your CStore Essentials.com account.

On the top left next to your store name click on the Manage Account button.

On the top right, click on Users button.

Click on the suitcase icon to setup advanced security.

Select Mobile form the drop down and click on the Change button to configure Google Authenticator

Follow the steps to setup Google Authenticator and click on Update button.

1. Login to your CStore Essentials.com account.
2. On the top left next to your store name click on the Manage Account button.
3. On the top right, click on Users button.
4. Click on the suitcase icon to setup advanced security.
5. Select Mobile form the drop down and click on the Change button to configure Google Authenticator
6. Follow the steps to setup Google Authenticator and click on Update button.

For 2 step verification using USB security key:

To achieve this, you will need to purchase an USB security key. you can purchase them from CStore Essentials by clicking here (LINK TO USB SECURITY KEY PURCHASE PAGE)

Plug in the USB key on the PC and wait for the drivers to finish installing.

On the top left next to your store name click on the Manage Account button.

On the top right, click on Users button.

Select the USB Keys tab and click on the Add New button (Note: if you already have one USB key, you can click on the "+" button on the top right).

Enter the Key name (i.e. Johns Security Key) in the Key name field

In the Enter OPT Key field push the gold button on the Security key. This will link this key to your stores account.

Click on Add button to add the key to your account.

1. Plug in the USB key on the PC and wait for the drivers to finish installing.
2. Login to your CStore Essentials account.
3. On the top left next to your store name click on the Manage Account button.
4. On the top right, click on Users button.
5. Select the USB Keys tab and click on the Add New button (Note: if you already have one USB key, you can click on the "+" button on the top right).
6. Enter the Key name (i.e. Johns Security Key) in the Key name field
7. In the Enter OPT Key field push the gold button on the Security key. This will link this key to your stores account.
8. Click on Add button to add the key to your account.

On the top right, click on Users button.

Click on the suitcase icon to setup advanced security.

Select USB key form the drop down and assign the keys you setup in the steps above.

Click on Update button and save the settings.
