Commander with Mako Router

STEP 1: Locate the Mako Router connected to your Commander POS (pictures below, models may vary):

STEP 2: Connect the Ethernet cable from the Back-Office Computer to PORT 3 On Mako Router. If Port 3 is already used then it may be connected to a Mako switch (picture below) and you can connect to any 'open' and available port.

STEP 3: Log into your Windows Operating System with Administrative rights. Open Control Panel, Network & Sharing Center -> Change adapter options -> Right click on your Ethernet Card or Ethernet-usb-adapter connected to the Mako router. Locate -> Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and enter the IP settings below:

  • Setup the I.P. on the connection as Follows

  • I.P. address 192.168.13.2

  • Subnet Mask 255.255.255.224

  • Default gateway 192.168.13.1

  • Preferred DNS 66.82.4.8

  • Alternate DNS 66.82.4.12

STEP 4: Open a internet browser such as Google Chrome (recommended) or Firefox:

  • Connect to C-store Petroleum site using the URL listed below:

STEP 5: If unable to access Petroleum Control Center (shown above) then please contact Mako Support. Explain them you are installing a new back Office and would like PORT 3 open and IP address Mapped to Reach the Petroleum site.

STEP 6: Repeat Steps 1-4.
