V1 PASSPORT WITH CYBERA ROUTER

STEP 1: Locate the V1 CYBERA ROUTER connected to your PASSPORT POS (Models may vary)

STEP 2: Connect the Ethernet cable Form the Back-Office Computer to PORT 2 On Cybera Router.

Step 1: On your Back Office PC, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Click on Change Adapter Settings [?]

Step 2: Right-click on the Ethernet Adapter network and click on properties [?]

Note: In the Adapter Settings screen, there are a list of networks, you should see your Ethernet Adapter plugged in

Step 3: On the Properties window, select option Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and click on properties.

Step 4: On the new Properties window select the option labeled as "Use the following IP address", and type the following information.

I.P. address 10.96.10.2

  • Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

  • Default gateway 10.96.10.1

  • Preferred DNS 8.8.8.8

  • Alternate DNS 8.8.4.4

Once connection is established, map the network drive on your computer to start receiving and share files with the Passport POS. Click on Windows Start Button > Computer > right-click on Network option on the left side of the new window and select "Map Network Drive"

Step 7: On the "Map Network Drive" window enter the following:

  • Select the Drive as Z (if Z is taken, any other letter will work)

  • Enter the path name under the folder option: \\10.5.48.2\XMLGateway

  • Depending on the port you put on Cybera Router, The last Digit of I.P. Address changes. Any port will work.

  • If it is on port 1 & 2 put 10.96.10.2

  • If it is on Port 3 put 10.96.10.3

  • If it is on port 4 put 10.96.10.4

Note***When using a Cybera router, a single ethernet cable will provide access to both Internet and XML folder.

Or if they are running on 2 network cables use this command on CMD or PowerShell.

(Use route -P add 10.5.48.0 mask 255.255.255.192 10.96.10.1 metric 1)
