Why does this error appear?
You may see the "UnableToSentDueToError" message while viewing Pricebook data under Pricebook > Send to POS.
This occurs when items are sent to the POS register without any actual changes from the Pricebook > Bulk Update menu.
The system only processes and sends updated items. If no updates are detected, the error is triggered.
How to avoid this issue
Always ensure that items selected under Bulk Update include at least one change (e.g., price, department, or item name).
If even one item in your batch has no changes, you will see the error on the Send to POS page.
Before sending, double-check that all items in the batch have been updated.
How to resend a single item without changes
If you need to resend an item from the PDI Pricebook without updating it:
Go to Pricebook > Items.
Enter the UPC barcode in the Scan Code field and click the magnifying glass icon.
From the search result, click the ... (three dots) icon on the right and select Send to POS.
How to send items in bulk with changes
To send multiple updated items to the POS register:
Go to Pricebook > Bulk Update.
Apply filters and click Search to find the items you want to update.
Make changes in the editable fields (e.g., price, department) and ensure the checkbox is selected.
Click Send to Register Now.
