How to Delete Items from PDI Essentials Pricebook

This article outlines the process to delete items from the PDI Essentials Price Book, either individually or in bulk.

Delete an Individual Item

  1. Go to Pricebook > Items.

  2. Enter the Scan Code of the item you want to delete or use filters to locate it.

  3. Click on the three dots (...) next to the item and select Delete from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Confirm Deletion to complete the process.



Delete Multiple Items (Bulk Delete)

  1. Go to Pricebook > Items.

  2. Enter the Scan Code(s) or use filters to find the items you want to delete.

  3. Select the checkbox on the left side of each item. This will display an additional option to Delete Selected Items.

  4. Click Delete Items, then select Confirm Deletion.

  5. The selected items will now be deleted in bulk.

  6. You can also check the entire items in the page to delete and extend the number of items per page from 20 to 200 from the bottom of the page.



Important Notes

  • Deleted items are first moved to the Send to POS page for final confirmation. This gives you a chance to restore them if you change your mind.

  • Once items are confirmed for deletion from the Send to POS page, they will be permanently removed from the database after 24 hours.



How to Undo a Deletion (Restore Items)

  1. Go to Pricebook > Send to POS.

  2. Find the items awaiting confirmation for deletion.

  3. Click on the item.

  4. A pop-up box will appear showing the number of items marked for deletion.

  5. On the right side of each item, click the Undo (arrow) icon..

  6. The item will be restored to your Pricebook.

  7. This undo option is only applicable for the first 2 hours of the items being sent for delete.
