When attempting to install POSLink on the Back Office computer, you may encounter an error message stating that Smart App Control has blocked the installation because it cannot confirm who wrote the app.

Follow these simple steps to disable Smart App Control and complete your installation:

Step 1: πŸ” Click on the Search Bar at the bottom of your screen and type "Windows Security"

Step 2: πŸ›‘οΈClick on "App & browser control"

Step 3: βš™οΈ Click on "Smart App Control settings"

Step 4: πŸ”“ Turn Off Smart App Control

  • Toggle the switch to Off

  • A confirmation dialog will appear asking "Are you sure?"

  • Click "Yes, I'm sure" to confirm

Step 5: πŸ’Ύ Install POSLink

  • Now attempt to install the POSLink application again

  • The installation should proceed without any errors
