This article outlines how to delete or keep files from the Passport Register’s shared folder using PDI C-Store Essentials settings

Updated over a month ago
  • By default, PDI C-Store Essentials deletes files from BoOutBox once they are processed and uploaded to your C-Store Essentials cloud database

  • However, you can change this setting based on your store’s needs

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Go to C-Store Essentials Web Account

  • You can access C-Store Essentials by clicking here or going to https://secure.cstorepro.com

  • Click the “Forgot Password” button if you need help resetting your password

2. Navigate to point-of-sale Data Settings

  • On the top right side of the screen, click on the Human Silhouette Icon

  • Next click on POS Settings

3. Configure File Deletion Settings

  • Under General Settings, find POS Register’s settings

  • Locate the following options:

    • Delete files from BoOutBox after processing?

    • Delete files ignored from CSE from BoOutBox?

  • Set them to YES or NO, depending on your preference

Important Notes

  • If you use another Back-Office or 3rd Party Software with your Passport POS Register, ensure it does not delete files from **\XMLGateway\BoOutBox**

  • If files are deleted before CStore Essentials processes them, required Day Close and Live Transactions files may fail to upload to your account
