To avoid taking several hours to update tobacco pricing each month, C-store Essentials has partnered with Altria and integrated their new price promotion API, providing customers with a tool to update tobacco prices with just a click.

Intergration Setup
Required API Consent Form
To start, you’ll need to sign Altria’s AGDC Price Promotion API consent form, available through DocBox at AGDC.
Please contact your Altria representative for additional details
You may need to wait 2-3 weeks before beginning the integration
Confirm with your Altria Representative for the exact date to start
2. Go to C-Store Essentials Web Account
You can access C-Store Essentials by clicking here or going to https://secure.cstorepro.com
Click the Forgot Password button if you need help resetting your password
3. Go to the Essentials Marketplace Page
On the top right side of the screen, click on the User icon
Next click on the Essentials Marketplace option
4. Connect Altria Pricebook Integration
On the Essentials Marketplace screen, click on the Get Started button under the Altria Pricebook Integration section
5. Enter Your Altria RCN Number
Input your Altria RCN number in the textbox and click Validate RCN
✅ Note: Make sure the store address and RCN number in C-Store Essentials match the Altria records or there may be errors that impact accurate reporting
Once connected, the Altria Pricebook Integration will show connected along with the activation date.
Updating Pricebook Data with Altria Tobacco Pricing
Check for New Pricing Notifications
When Altria updates tobacco pricing, a red notification dot will appear on the Notification Bell in your application
Open it to see the new Altria Tobacco Pricing notification
You can also click on the Pricebook option from the left side of the screen
Next click on the Items option
On the Manage Pricebook page, click on Review New Prices in the Altria banner to see the proposed updates
2. Update Prices
Review the suggested changes
If you agree, click Update Prices to apply Altria's max suggested retail pricing to matched items in your Pricebook
✅ Note: The integration only updates prices for items already in your Pricebook. It won’t add new items. Price updates will not take effect until you complete the final Update Prices step.
💡 Tip: You can discard or snooze any pricing updates if they’re not relevant to your store. C-Store Essentials will only make changes when you approve.

Will new items be added to my Pricebook automatically?
No, the integration only updates pricing for existing items.
You will need to update new items to your Pricebook. Marlboro prices, for example, require manual update even if Altria integration is active. Obtain the latest pricing from your Altria representative and enter it directly into the system.
Can I turn off price updates once they’re available?
Yes, you can snooze or discard specific updates.
Price changes require your action, so C-Store Essentials won’t make adjustments without your confirmation. If updates fail to appear, check the Pricebook under Items for notifications or verify the status of the Altria Pricebook integration. Contact support for further assistance if issues persist.
