How to configure Passport for Gas Sales Data

This article outlines the steps to verify and adjust the configuration settings on your Gilbarco Passport Register to ensure accurate fuel sales data and prevent discrepancies in reported volume and amount.

βœ… Note: If the Fuel Sold Volume and Amount differ by a couple of gallons or amounts, follow these steps to adjust the Back Office Interface settings on your Passport Register

Step-by-Step Process

1. Go to Manager Workstation

  • On your main Passport POS terminal, navigate to your Manager Workstation

  • Next click on Setup

  • Then click on Store

  • Next click on Back Office

  • Lastly, click on Back Office Interface

2. Adjust "Document Generation" Settings

  • Under the Document Generation tab, you will see two columns:

    • Store Close and Shift Close

3. Modify "Store Close" Settings

  • In the Store Close column, uncheck the top three options:

    • Fuel Grade Movement by 'Actual Sell Price'

    • Fuel Grade Movement by 'Till'

    • Fuel Grade Movement by 'Dispenser'

  • Leave the rest as selected

4. Modify "Shift Close" Settings

  • Ensure that no options are selected in the Shift Close column

5. Save Changes

  • Click Save to confirm your changes

  • When prompted, click:

    • OK on the first message

    • Yes on the second prompt

    • Yes on the third prompt

7. Exit Back Office Interface

  • Once saved, you should be redirected back to the POS screen

  • If not, manually click on the POS screen to complete the process
