🕓 How to Enable Day Closing Report Type on Verifone POS Register

💡 Set your Verifone POS to “Day Closing” mode to ensure PDI Essentials generates accurate end-of-day reports automatically.


⚠️ Important

  • PDI Essentials only recognises Day Closing reports from the POS to generate end-of-day reports.

  • If your POS is set to Shift Closing, PDI Essentials will not generate Day Closing reports.


🔧 Steps

  1. 🔐 Log in to your Verifone – Petroleum/C-Store Control Center.

  2. 🧭 Go to Payment Controller.

  3. ⚙️ Click on POS Configuration.

  4. 🧾 Open the POS tab.

  5. 📆 Set Batch Close Period to DAY and click Save Changes.


✅ Result

  • Once the changes are saved, the next closing performed on the POS will be recognised as a Day Closing.

  • PDI Essentials will automatically generate reports based on the Day Closing data received from the POS.
