Price Book Export Format Change in Gilbarco Passport (v24.04.27.01 mp17)

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

With the latest update of Gilbarco Passport (Version 24.04.27.01 mp17), the price book export format has changed.

Previously, Passport exported price book data in .xml format, which was fully compatible with PDI Essentials for direct price book uploads.

After the update, Passport now exports price book data in .json format.
At this time, .json files are not yet compatible with our price book upload feature.

What This Means

If you are on the new Passport version 24.04.27.01 mp17, you will:

  • No longer receive .xml Price Book export files

  • Unable to upload Price Book file directly into PDI Essentials.

Current Status

Our Engineering Team is actively working on:

  • Validating the new .json export structure

  • Updating our system to support .json price book uploads

  • Releasing compatibility as a priority update

We appreciate your patience while we complete this enhancement.
